Place the launcher in your WoW client folder — the same folder as your wow.exe.
It will automatically download the required patch, and keep it up to date whenever a new version is released.
It also handles the first-time download of the custom wow.exe, which you only need to grab once to get fully set up.
The launcher cannot download the full game client and does nothing else besides downloading our patch and .exe.
The custom .exe allows the client to load custom patches, enabling the interface modifications and content additions required for Inferno.
You only need to download this once — place it in your WoW folder and use it instead of the default wow.exe.
The patch adds all of Inferno's custom content to your client — models, textures, interface elements, and more.
Without the launcher, you will need to manually download and replace this file each time a new patch is released.
Place it in your WoW client/data folder, alongside patch-3.MPQ
