WoW 3.3.5 — Wotlk meets Vanilla
The embers of the Inferno await
Inferno is our vision of what World of Warcraft could have become if Wrath had met Vanilla — and development never stopped.

Using the 3.3.5 client as a foundation, Inferno reshapes Azeroth into a level 60 adventure focused on challenge, class identity, exploration, balance, and long-term progression.

From reworked Death Knights and overhauled professions to custom itemization, new battlegrounds and dungeons, redesigned raids, Mythic+ dungeons, new content, and true PvP/PvE viability for every spec, Inferno is built to make the game feel fresh without losing its original spirit.

It is still WoW. Still dangerous. Still social. Still rewarding.
But deeper, bolder, and far more alive.

Inferno Website gets a makeover
After numerous requests and a bunch of time in the oven, it's finally here ! Gnome and Goblin engineers around the world rejoice, as the overtime comes to an end

Adventurers of Inferno, rejoice: the website has been reforged. After much hammering, wiring, arguing, and at least one small explosion in the engineering wing, our old pages have been retired in favor of something sharper, cleaner, and far less likely to look like it was held together by kobold candles.

The new site comes packed with fresh contraptions and conveniences. You can now keep an eye on the realm through Discord integration, check how many brave souls are currently online with the live player count, browse updates more easily, and make use of an in-game talent calculator without having to consult an ancient scroll, a third-party shrine, or your guild's most sleep-deprived theorycrafter.

In short, the forge has been busy. More tools, more features, better readability, and fewer opportunities to get lost in a maze of outdated pages. Whether you came looking for class changes, server information, or simply to spy on the player count before logging in, the new website should make the journey much smoother.

So have a look around, click on things that look suspiciously important, and enjoy the upgrade. If anything breaks, please direct your complaints to the nearest goblin intern. If everything works perfectly, the gnomes assure us this was always the plan.

Nobody expects the Gnomish Inquisition
Teased, rumored, and briefly disguised as an April Fool's joke, the Priest's new 4th specialization is finally here: Inquisition.

After a lot of back and forth, we are proud to introduce a brand new fourth specialization for Priest: Inquisition.

Inquisition is a Holy caster DPS specialization built around explosive burst damage, disruptive utility, and strong crowd control. It offers a more aggressive interpretation of Holy magic, turning divine power into punishment rather than pure restoration.

The spec is designed to bring a distinct playstyle to both PvE and PvP. In PvE, Inquisition excels at delivering powerful burst windows while still contributing meaningful utility to the group. In PvP, it brings pressure, control, and the ability to create openings through a mix of Holy damage and disruptive tools.

With Inquisition, we wanted to offer players what they've always been asking for: a true smite spec that remains faithful to the class fantasy, but offers a truly tailored experience thanks to finally having its own spell tree.

As always, this is only the beginning. We will continue monitoring performance and feedback closely to keep refining the spec over time. You can review the spec in our talent calculator.

New battlegrounds enter the fray
Twin Peaks and Battle for Gilneas have officially joined Inferno's battleground lineup, bringing two more PvP maps to the battlefield.

Two new battlegrounds have now been added to Inferno: Twin Peaks and Battle for Gilneas.

Battle for Gilneas is now available from level 30+, while Twin Peaks becomes available from level 40+.

Both battlegrounds have been fully integrated into the server and adapted for our environment, with a lot of work done behind the scenes on map functionality, graveyards, objectives, score systems, minimaps, announcements, and general battleground flow.

These additions are part of our ongoing effort to expand PvP variety and make the battleground pool feel richer, more dynamic, and more alive across the leveling experience.

Whether you prefer the fast-paced flag battles of Twin Peaks or the node-control warfare of Battle for Gilneas, both are now ready for battle.

Ring of Law has arrived to deliver judgement
A new repeatable PvE arena challenge is now live. Gather your group, head to Thorium Point, and see how far you can push the Ring of Law.

The Ring of Law is now live on Inferno as a repeatable arena-style PvE challenge focused on wave progression, score pushing, affixes, and leaderboard competition.

To access the event, make your way to Thorium Point in Searing Gorge, where the event NPC will allow your group to enter and begin a run.

Once a run starts, your group composition is locked in. No one else may enter the dungeon until the run is manually ended or your group is defeated. The challenge is meant to test not only raw power, but also planning, consistency, and how well your group adapts under pressure.

Ring of Law currently features four game modes: Regular, Regular Easy, Rapid Fire, and Rapid Fire Easy. Regular mode handles each wave as a separate round with resets between waves, while Rapid Fire is a much harsher endurance format where waves chain almost immediately, with no mana or cooldown reset between rounds. Easy modes follow the same structure, but with lighter tuning.

Rapid Fire also introduces a lives system. Your group begins the run with 5 lives. Once those are exhausted, the run enters sudden death, and any further death will immediately end the attempt. You may still choose to end the run manually before the group fully collapses.

Each run is scored based on progression and performance. Surviving longer, clearing more waves, and defeating enemies deeper into the event will all increase your final score. Every game mode has its own separate leaderboard, giving each format its own competitive space.

To keep runs fresh, Ring of Law uses an affix system. Affixes are reset every wave and rolled from different pools, adding variation from one round to the next. Before beginning a run, players may choose to ban one affix for greater control over the setup, though doing so comes with a score penalty at the end of the run.

Leaderboards can be viewed directly from the NPC, including both personal bests and server bests for every mode. Detailed entries also show the full run breakdown, including the group composition used to achieve each score.

If you are looking for a new kind of repeatable endgame challenge, Ring of Law is ready. Build your group, travel to Thorium Point, step into the arena, and see how long you can survive.
